Your Stay with Us
Students that book on any course with us will be met by a Babel Fish representative on arrival and taken to one of our fantastic host families where you will stay for the duration of your course. The host family will welcome you warmly, show you how to get to the school and provide you with breakfast and dinner each day.

A typical week is comprised of 15 hours of English classes in our school at Trenance Heritage Cottages in the heart of Newquay, set within the grounds of a beautiful public park. Students can get tea and coffee from the Garden Cafe next to the school and pre-order their lunch there too. The Garden Cafe will give a 20% discount on all food and drink for Babel Fish students. If you prefer, you can make the 10 minute walk into Newquay and get lunch from one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants. We will meet again after lunch.

The Best Surf Spots
There are many surfing beaches nearby and we will choose the best location on each particular day, depending on tide and conditions. You will surf in small groups so that attention can be given to each student, regardless of their level. We will often film you surfing and use this for coaching analysis and language learning. All surfing equipment is provided, but if you have a board and wetsuit that you would like to bring, then please feel free to do so.
