Babel Fish Language School is offering a unique opportunity to learn English whilst exploring the amazing county of Cornwall – its dynamic coasts, azure coves and mysterious moorlands.
DATES: 17th – 31st May
This immersive, two week study-travel experience includes:
- 15 hours of English lessons per week with highly qualified and passionate teachers
- Guided walks along the South West Coast Path, across Dartmoor and both the North and South coasts – plus all travel to our destinations
- Homestay accommodation and all meals
- Knowledgeable and expert staff to bring the county and our explorations to life
PRICE = £750 per person, per week
Your base will be our school, perfectly situated in the coastal town of Newquay within spectacular landscaped gardens.
Some days will have a classroom focus, but we believe a classroom is anywhere where learning happens – not necessarily four walls.
Therefore, many lessons will happen on foot, as we walk, talk and share discoveries of the Cornish landscape.
We will roam further afield – and very much off the beaten track – in our pursuit of memorable experiences, awe-inspiring natural wonders and innovative ways to improve our students’ English.
Our proposed itinerary sees us explore the upland moors as well as ramble along the South West Coast path on each of Cornwall’s coastlines. We will visit famous beaches, such as Holywell where the BBC’s Poldark is often filmed, as well as some of the county’s hidden gems and lesser known beauty spots.
Our proposed itinerary…
Your English teachers will be with you on your adventure…and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Chris Lucas – professional photographer, outdoor specialist, best-selling author and critically-acclaimed film director (The Yukon Assignment, 2018)- who will be your guide: www.chrislucasproadventure.com
